UK inflation increases to 4.3 percent
UK inflation rose to 4.3 per cent in November, up from 4.2 per cent in October. The main factors were additional upward higher food prices and motor vehicle purchase costs and a partially offsetting downward contribution from vehicle insurance.
Inflation excluding mortgage interest payments – was 3.2 per cent in November, up from 3.1 per cent in October.
